Forming Finn Balor’s Balor Club

So how does the Balor Club form?

As noted, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe are facing Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson in the semifinals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic at NXT TakeOver: Respect. Balor and Joe would first defeat these two and move onto the finals.

In the other semifinal, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable would defeat Baron Corbin and Rhyno to advance to face Balor and Joe.

So we get to the final and the two teams put on a terrific match. However, Balor and Joe come out victorious and win the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

Cody Rhodes and Goldust will come down to present the trophy in honor of their deceased father. They will present the trophy to Balor and Joe, creating a terrific moment. The Rhodes brothers will then leave the ring while the winners celebrate.

Once it’s just Balor and Joe in the ring, we see Corbin and Rhyno charge down to the ring and attack Joe. They both have had issues with the former ROH star in the past on NXT but also want to express their frustrations for not winning the tournament.

While they attack Joe, we see Balor standing to the side not doing anything. The camera will pan in on Balor’s face and we see he has a widening, evil smile.

Once Corbin and Rhyno finish their attack, Balor grabs the microphone and says he has noticed Joe’s hints at wanting the NXT Championship. He tells him that’s not going to happen as long as the Balor Club is around.

Balor drops the mic and the group stands tall to close the segment.
