30-Minute Iron Man Match for the NXT Women’sChampionship
Bayley (c) vs. Sasha Banks
The rematch to end all rematches. Bayley and Sasha Banks tore the house down at TakeOver Brooklyn and this is the perfect way to end the feud between two of the best female wrestlers the company has. After being booked as the co main event last time out, the women’s title is finally the stand alone main event and is there on merit.
Bayley needs to get the win here to push her forward into the rumoured feud with new signing Asuka. Sasha is making a name for herself on the main roster as part of Team BAD and this will probably be the final time we see her on NXT.
These two women will undoubtedly show why they deserve to be in this spot. Bayley is finally the top dog in the Women’s Division and will carry it on her back for the next year or so. Heel Sasha is the perfect foil for face Bayley, and the theme of Respect is perfect for the feud between the pair of them. After the match in Brooklyn they shared a moment in the ring with fellow Four Horsewomen Charlotte and Becky Lynch, they have a massive amount of respect for each other but don’t expect them to hold back here.
Bayley is one of the biggest faces the company has and can go on and be the longest reigning Women’s Champion, whilst facing the likes of Asuka, Dana Brook and potentially Eva Marie down the road.
This match will take place all over the arena and has the potential to be the best women’s match you’ll see this year. The Iron Man stipulation can be used to make both women look strong but it will be Bayley that walks out still holding her NXT Women’s Championship.
Winner: Bayley
