5 Takeaways From Bayley-Sasha Banks II at NXT TakeOver: Respect

5. Thank you, Sasha!
The curtain has closed on Sasha Banks’ time at Full Sail University and her “graduation” (if you will) was the perfect sendoff.
During her time with NXT, Banks held the NXT Women’s Championship for 192 days after winning the gold at NXT TakeOver: Rival and has become one of the biggest stars in WWE. (No, that’s not an exaggeration.)
The ending of the Bayley-Sasha Banks rematch was perfect. Not only did both women leave it all in the ring, the NXT roster gave Sasha a proper goodbye. The entire locker was front and center and congratulated Banks for what she’s done with NXT. Triple H greeting Bayley in the ring was a touching moment, but Banks’ face when she saw the flowers given to her almost brought me to tears.
To see Banks legitimately break down in front of Becky, Charlotte and Sara Del Rey, along with an embrace from Triple H, was a moment I won’t forget for a long time.
Sometimes as wrestling fans, we take performers for granted and forget all the hard work they put into their craft. Seeing the respect (no pun intended) given to Banks and Bayley was superb. Like I stated earlier, NXT wouldn’t be where it is without Sasha Banks. Wednesday was a perfect finale to the best feud in NXT history.
