1. Seth Rollins
Last Week: 1
Last night we got to see an on-screen confrontation between Seth Rollins and Shawn Michaels, with the crowd chanting “One more match” in the background. While that ultra-dream match-up will most likely remain a fantasy, a more plausible reality is Rollins’ claim in that he will overtake HBK as the greatest of all time.
Now I’m not saying that’s a certainty; there are still many decades to go before Rollins can actually be included in the conversation of who is the best of the best. But each week we continue see Rollins grow and improve, and this week his wrestling took a backseat to his character development. Everything about Rollins heel-work last night was spot-on perfection. From his segments with Shawn Michaels to the tag match with his former Shield buddies, there was absolutely nothing to like about Seth Rollins except how obnoxious and detestable he can be.
And that’s what makes a great bad guy.
