After what seems like forever Prince Pretty, Tyler Breeze, has finally made it to the main roster in WWE. After appearing on house shows in recent weeks and then swirling rumours of his debut he finally got his call up. Coming out during the Dolph Ziggler and Summer Rae appearance on Miz TV during this weeks SmackDown, he has been thrown right in to a feud with one of the big names of WWE.
The whole situation revolving around Dolph, Summer, Lana and Rusev fell apart last week, Breeze has been brought in as the new love interest for Summer. There’s something else that could blow this feud right out of the water and that’s a certain shiny gold belt held by one John Cena.

We know that Cena is set to take a short hiatus after Hell in a Cell weekend. We know that he is scheduled for a United States Championship Open Challenge match at the ppv on sunday night. We know that match will probably be when he loses the belt. What we also know is that for maximum impact it would be perfect for Tyler Breeze to be the man who beats Cena for that belt.
Tyler has been on a losing streak in NXT. He’s lost to who’s who of names in recent months including Japanese legend Jushin “Thunder” Liger and the next big thing Apollo Crews via a tag team loss to Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. You could say that all that, coupled with the fact he could never win the big belt on the developmental brand, could have been an indication towards big things when he was finally called up. As one of the best inside the ring he was the man that was always called upon to make others look great in matches. Now he’s on the main roster there’s a world of opportunities for him.

Cena has made a lot of the Open Challenge’s while he’s been United States Champion. Matches against Tyler’s fellow NXT alumni including Kevin Owens, Neville and Sami Zayn have all been something different from Cena, whilst giving some of his main event rub to new men on the block. What a great start it would be for Tyler Breeze to face him and do what his peers couldn’t, beat Cena for the title.
Cena has faced Dolph Ziggler recently and a feud between the two looked likely, after he admitted he still had feelings for Cena’s girlfriend Nikki Bella at the end of the last season of Total Divas. If Breeze is now tangled up with Dolph and Summer Rae, how much could it boost Tyler and how much would it push Dolph over the edge? If Breeze is set to keep his heel gimmick he made so famous in NXT, the perfect way to get him over instantly would be to have him laugh in the face of Dolph.
When Cena is ready to come back you can throw him back right in the middle of the feud between Breeze and Ziggler. Cena instantly gets the attention of the fans, Cena is the most recognisable face and name the company currently has. Cena can make Tyler Breeze a star in the eyes of the WWE Universe in his first main roster match.
Breeze is the perfect preening, cocky heel that is the scourge of fans around the world. Push him in the same way he was in NXT and you’ll find you’ve struck gold with him. His long stay in NXT will be all worthwhile.
Tyler got the girl and the gold, he’s only been in the company a few days and already has the things that Ziggler wants the most.
Ladies and Gentlemen, your new WWE United States Champion is Tyler Breeze!
