NXT teams: Some teams have the makings of a good team: good look, similar characters, and decent ring work. However, NXT still needs some teams, and these two have just not proved enough to be promoted to the main roster as a team.

Blake and Murphy: The BAM Factor had a run with the NXT tag team gold that didn’t really inspire confidence. The best part of the team has been the heel work of Alexa Bliss. By 2017, however, Bliss will be firmly entrenched on the main roster without her dubstep-loving bodyguards. Blake and Murphy haven’t made a real connection with the fans in NXT, and could prove to be the benchmark for new teams in NXT in 2017.

Hype Bros.: This is being really optimistic in assuming that both members of this team will still be on the roster. Mojo Rawley has a ton of presence and raw athleticism, but his mat skills lack. Zack Ryder may never recover from his spectacular fall from grace after his initial run. These two have a gimmick that is fun, but lack legs. They will continue to entertain the fans of NXT, but not the main roster.
