Predicting WWE’s Tag Team Division in 2017

Main Roster Faces:
The Usos: The Usos have been absent from our television screens while one half heals a shoulder injury. The Usos are the tag team equivalent of John Cena: big merchandise movers, squeaky clean baby faces who put on consistently good matches. The Usos will remain faces in 2017 and maybe get a few more tag title runs between now and then.
Jordan & Gable: Jason Jordan & Chad Gable have had some stand out matches in NXT, especially during the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They are supposed to be heels, but they are just too entertaining to not be turned face when they go to the main roster. They will be ready, they will be willing, and you know the rest.
Enzo & Big Cass: “The Realest Guys in the Room” have been an internet wrestling community favourite to be brought up to the main roster for some time. As evident at NXT: TakeOver Brooklyn, their entrance can work in a big arena. While some view Enzo more as Big Cass’ manager, in 2017 they will still be a pair of real guys tearing up the tag division.
Cesaro & Kidd: This may anger a lot of Cesaro’s biggest supporters who see him as a big star in the main event. Cesaro, without a doubt, is one of the best pure wrestlers on the planet. His charisma is lacking though, and WWE is reluctant to push him even after his tag parter Tyson Kidd suffered a bad neck injury. Cesaro will continue to be at the top of the midcard during 2016, but will find himself back with Kidd in 2017, putting on classic tag team matches.
New Day: No, this is not #Booty. Xavier Woods, Big E, & Kofi Kingston are currently one of the best heel trios in sports entertainment. New Day does face-like things ironically currently, but they may go the way of The Shield by 2017, succumbing to fan support to turn babyface. While they failed as faces during their initial debut, a second run as faces could work using the Power of Positivity.
