– The Lucha Dragons defeated The Dudley Boyz, The Ascension and Sheamus & King Barrett in a multi-team match. New Day was on commentary for this.
– Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz in a Halloween Street Fight. Tyler Breeze attacked Ziggler after the match.
– Paige defeated Natalya. Team B.A.D. distracted Natalya to cause the loss and attacked her after the match.
– Alberto Del Rio defeated R-Truth in a non-title match.
– Braun Strowman, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper defeated Dean Ambrose, Cesaro and Ryback.
This seems like another interesting episode of SmackDown.
The Halloween Street Fight was done with the holiday taking place this Saturday. It gave Miz a chance to get back on TV and put Breeze in a spotlight of the feud again. They’re managing him well so far. We’ll see how long it lasts.
Natalya losing then getting beat down by Team B.A.D. is interesting. It seems like a feud where both sides have no direction and need something to do. It’s unfortunate since all 4 Divas are being held back by this.
So Kalisto and Sin Cara seem to be the new No. 1 Contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship, pushing away The Dudley Boyz. WWE messed up their use of Bubba Ray and D-Von and now they’re stuck in purgatory with the rest of the tag teams not in the title hunt. This is only about 60 days into their return too.
It’s also good to see the Wyatt Family henchmen getting a push. They should be before they likely face Undertaker and Kane at Survivor Series.
