WWE TLC 2013

Where do we start with this one? How about the fact that, not content with jobbing one of the hottest factions in the company in a 3 on 1 match, they also had another 3 on 1 match on the card and looked like they wanted to stick the middle finger up to the fans along the way. Cap it off with the millionth match between John Cena and Randy Orton for the big title and that’s why this edition of TLC comes bottom of the list.

More from John Cena

To have CM Punk win against The Shield in the first 3 on 1 match was a strange piece of booking. At the time, all 4 men were hot, but to job out three of your men that you will build the company around made absolutely no sense.

A Divas title match between AJ Lee and Natalya was won by AJ with a hair assisted roll up, would have been a better match if they’d been allowed more time. The mid card featured a lot of big stars but also some absolute rubbish. Both the tag title bout featured Big Show and Rey Mysterio vs. The Rhodes Brothers vs. The Real Americans vs. RybAxel, and the Intercontinental title match between Big E Langston and Damien Sandow were instantly forgettable. The less you talk about R-Truth vs Brodus Clay the better. Kofi Kingston did his best but could only just about drag a decent match out of The Miz.

Following all that bad with having the man who the fans wanted to see at the top, Daniel Bryan job to all three members of the Wyatt Family again made no sense whatsoever. Killing off the man who the company should have been built on the back of in a handicap match, well I don’t know who thought that was a good idea?

2013 goes down as one of the most baffling events in WWE history, not just in TLC history.
