WWE TLC 2015: Why the Wyatt Family Will Beat the Dudley Boyz and Tommy Dreamer
Will the Wyatt Family re-establish themselves at WWE TLC?
As far as mid-card feuds go, this is about as good as it gets, especially for WWE TLC. It’s not about a title, and it involves two teams who had nothing to do with each other a month ago. The story feels believable and not like something that was just randomly thrown together.
Tommy Dreamer being brought into the fold could be seen by some as a cheap way to raise viewership for the pay-per-view, or even to save face with the Raw ratings, but to me, it says they’re taking this feud seriously. WWE could have just as easily scheduled two members of the Wyatt Family to take on the Dudleyz at WWE TLC, or even have the Dudleyz bring in two guys who are already on the roster. The Prime Time Players, Goldust or Neville could have worked.

Instead, they chose to bring in Dreamer who makes the group a more cohesive unit, and not just a thrown-together squad who is destined to be taken down by the Wyatts. We have the latest incarnation of the ECW originals taking on the most well-established stable in WWE. It’s a well-executed, fun storyline.
But the Wyatt Family is still going to destroy the Dudley Boyz at WWE TLC.
The Wyatt Family have been booked so frustratingly over the past few months. It’s not that they haven’t been against good competition (the Brothers of Destruction and Roman Reigns/Dean Ambrose are obviously no slouches), but they lose match after match despite trying to establish themselves as a scary, intimidating group. I thought for sure that the addition of Braun Strowman would bring about a new age for the Wyatts. Instead, they were fed to the Undertaker and Kane for the 25th Anniversary edition of Survivor Series. Don’t get me wrong, Undertaker deserved a victory at that event, it’s just a shame it came at the expense of the Wyatt Family.
But that brings us to the present, where the Wyatts are trying to save face against the Dudleyz and Tommy Dreamer, and presumably another ECW original who is set to join the team this week on Raw. Although the assumed 4-on-4 match at WWE TLC, regardless of the stipulation, should be a good one, the outcome is obvious. The Wyatts are going to win, and they are probably going to win convincingly.

Tommy Dreamer and the mystery participant have nothing to gain by defeating the Wyatt Family while the Wyatts have everything to gain by reminding people who yes, they can still get a victory every now and again. As for the Dudleyz, they are a mid-card tag team at the moment, so they can afford the impact the loss will have on them.
What it comes down to is that the Wyatts need to prove that they aren’t all talk. All they seem to do is cut creepy promo after creepy promo before they inevitably lose to whoever they had harassed for the past month. In order for fans to remain interested in this group, WWE needs to establish them as a force to be reckoned with, rather than a bearded job squad that can talk the talk but not walk the walk. WWE TLC seems to be the time and place for this to be proven, which is why the Wyatt Family is going to dominate the ECW originals in whatever match may take place.
