Roman Reigns comes good at last

At the conclusion of the TLC match last night we saw Reigns absolutely destroy Triple H with a steel chair and more. This can only be to set up a proper feud between the two men that has bubbled under the whole time that Reigns has been chasing the belt. With the company finally doing something good with Reigns it’s time for him to show what he can really do.

As a consequence of Reigns’ actions last night Triple H should announce during a backstage segment that Reigns has been suspended until the week before the Royal Rumble. With Sheamus now looking towards Brock Lesnar as his next challenger, Reigns needs to go away for a while as an in-ring talent. Triple H could later announce that the only way that Reigns gets a shot to enter the Rumble is if he can win a Royal Rumble style match on the Raw on the Monday before the Rumble. Even if he does win that match though he’ll enter the Rumble at number one. We don’t need to know who’s in that match until nearer the time.

More from Daily DDT

With Reigns not allowed in the arena, you have a great way of setting up some segments involving him in the next five or so weeks until that gauntlet match. Have him attempt to attack Triple H tonight in the parking lot as he is set to leave the building, only to get taken out by The New Day.

Pulling Reigns out of actual in-ring action for a few weeks will give him time to build up some sympathy with the fans as well as setting up the opportunity for the fans to get behind the fact that he has been screwed out of his chance at the World Heavyweight Championship yet again.

All this can be used to lead to a one on one match between Roman Reigns and Tripe H further down the line, most likely at WreslteMania.
