Kevin Owens Backstage

Owens says no one knows how upset he is about losing last night. He says he doesn’t have to justify himself to anyone and what we saw was only the beginning. Owens says he won’t stop until he drives Ambrose insane while taking back the IC title.

Team ECW Backstage

Bubba Ray says no matter times you get knocked down, you always get back up and keep fighting. Dreamer says it began in Philly. D-Von says they have gone through hell here and Rhyno says there’s more to come. They challenge the Wyatt Family to a match later on.

Stephanie McMahon Backstage

We see Stephanie waiting for Vince to arrive.

Bo Dallas vs. R-Truth

Result: Vince McMahon stopped the match.

Dallas hit a shoulder tackle before showboating at ringside.

We then cut to video of Vince arriving backstage in a limo.

Truth hits a hip toss on Dallas and screams “What’s up” at the crowd.

Dallas starts throwing right hands and Vince makes his way out. He stops the match and tells everyone to get out.

Vince McMahon Segment

McMahon says there’s someone backstage sweating profusely. He says the person will see like when he’s standing in the presence of Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

Vince goes to ringside and sits in a chair. He says Reigns will sweat a little more.

We come back to see Vince still waiting for Reigns or something to happen. He then walks back into the ring and calls Reigns out to the ring. Reigns would enter the arena through the stage, which never happens.

McMahon says Triple H is in Connecticut suffering and tells Reigns to wipe the smile off his face. He tells Reigns to apologize for what he did at WWE TLC, to which Roman shakes his head no.

Vince tells Reigns to get on his hands and knees to apologize, to which he shakes his head again. Vince says there was a time where he would have beat the apology out of Reigns, to which he smiles and shakes his head. This angers the Chairman, who gets ready for a fight.

Sheamus then comes out and says he wants the pleasure of beating an apology out of Reigns himself. He says no one should disrespect McMahon or his family. He says for Vince to allow him to challenge Reigns tonight and tells Roman to wipe the smile off his face. He brings up the wins at TLC and Survivor Series. Sheamus says he can beat Reigns anytime, anywhere and wants to put his title on the line.

Vince then asks the crowd if they want a title match tonight, to which he says there’s “no chance in hell”. Reigns then grabs the mic away and says “why not, old man?” He says Vince is 70-years-old and time is passing him by. McMahon says he’s got the match tonight and if Reigns doesn’t win the title, he’s fired. Vince finishes with a kick to the groin on Reigns.

Rob’s Note: Wow, we are getting a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match tonight with a lot on the line for Reigns. This was a fantastic segment, as WWE Creative is striking gold for the first time in ages. This is a treat.
