In the main event of the night, Samoa Joe goes after what he thinks is rightfully his: the highest prize in NXT, the NXT Championship.

After winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic as a team, Samoa Joe wanted a shot at Balor’s NXT Title. William Regal instead made the number one contender’s battle royal and Samoa Joe lost. That caused Joe to snap and attack Balor after his title match against Apollo Crews.

In the weeks leading up to NXT TakeOver: London, Joe choked out Balor using the Coquina Clutch. He has had the advantage over Balor at all times during this feud. Will he be the next NXT Champion?

Prediction: Finn Balor

Even though Samoa Joe has had the upper hand and has become a dominant force since turning heel, Balor will still emerge as champion from London. Balor has not scratched the surface of his potential as NXT champion, and this feud could still continue on further.

If the feud doesn’t continue, Balor’s next championship feud could be with Baron Corbin. That would let Samoa Joe run rampant on the NXT Universe, continuing to be a dominant force and a gatekeeper of sorts in the developmental brand. This match could be the match of the night in London, except if Sami Zayn has a match. Then that may very well steal the show.
