With this in mind, check out the spoilers from Tuesday’s SmackDown taping (h/t Wrestling Inc).

  • SmackDown opened with Charlotte and Ric Flair cutting a promo in the ring.

  • Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte in a non-title match. Becky Lynch attacked both women after the match. Sasha then took down Charlotte again.
  • New Day cut what was said to be a funny promo. The League of Nations (minus Alberto Del Rio) interrupted.
  • Sheamus defeated Kofi Kingston.
  • The Usos defeated The Ascension.
  • The Dudley Boyz get interviewed backstage. After talking negatively about The Usos, Rikishi and The Wild Samoans, Roman Reigns interrupted and wanted to fight Bubba Ray Dudley.
  • Sami Zayn and Dolph Ziggler defeated the Miz and Kevin Owens. Things broke down after the match with Stardust, Zack Ryder and Sin Cara coming out. Everyone hit their finishers but Ryder was the last one standing after performing the Rough Ryder on Owens.
  • Roman Reigns vs. Bubba Ray Dudley ended in a double count-out.
  • AJ Styles defeated Tyler Breeze.
  • Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar came to the ring. Heyman cut a promo on Dean Ambrose and called him out to fight Lesnar. The Wyatt Family instead showed up and surrounded the ring. Ambrose came out to make the save. However, he attacked Lesnar with a kendo stick. Lesnar retaliated with a clothesline and F5 to close SmackDown.

This seems like it will be another solid episode of SmackDown on Thursday. The show has been outperforming Raw of late and may do so once again.

Banks’ hometown pop should be fun to hear. The match with Charlotte should great as well given their in-ring chemistry that has been seen in NXT.

Lynch’s actions will probably get her a heel reaction, which isn’t great booking on WWE’s part. These inconsistencies have been ongoing for a while, though.

The chaotic booking for the Intercontinental Championship ladder match should be expected. It’s part of WWE’s way of making the build similar to what is actually going to happen in the bout. Unfortunately, this won’t involve an actual storyline.

The interaction between Ambrose and Lesnar should also be fun as the SmackDown main event.
