WWE WrestleMania 32 Predictions: Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose

facebooktwitterreddit

A look at the predictions for the WrestleMania 32 match between Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose.

One of the top singles matches at WrestleMania 32 will feature Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose in a No Holds Barred Street Fight. These two have been feuding since the build began for the WWE Fastlane main event.

Lesnar has mostly gotten the best of Ambrose during this program. With weapons available to use, though, can the Lunatic Fringe steal a win?

This may seem like a bold call, but WWE knows that Ambrose is their future, even if they’re not acting on it yet. This could be the match that launches him into true superstardom, and the loss wouldn’t hurt Lesnar much since weapons are expected to be heavily involved. It would prove one of the only ways to beat Lesnar is by using weapons, so his reputation wouldn’t take a hit.

This is going to be Dean Ambrose flashing back to his days in CZW, breaking out every possible weapon and using everything in his power to ultimately put down Brock Lesnar, but continuing to fall short. Brock is the biggest and baddest man on the roster right now, and he will make Ambrose look like a million bucks. And all of it is going to be ruined when the healthy members of the Wyatt Family come out to attack Lesnar and cost him the match.

With all the build up for the weapons that Ambrose could use this has to be a win for him. The use of weapons and the no holds barred nature of the match, are the perfect way to have Brock Lesnar lose a match without having to have him pinned clean. I hope to see the barbed wire baseball bat in play, plus a tease of the chainsaw being used before it is taken away by a furious Paul Heyman. The only way to keep Lesnar down could be the use of several chair, the bat and some kind of big bump involving tables. This match could steal the show.

Make no doubt about it, Lesnar versus Ambrose will be the match of the night on Sunday. Of all the Wrestlemania 32 programs, the Lesnar-Ambrose feud has been the only one that has been booked properly. Ever since WWE opted to have Ambrose close out the Royal Rumble match against Triple H, it was clear the company was ready to give The Lunatic Fringe his ascension to main-event status. Sunday will be the final push. Ambrose is going to defeat Lesnar on Sunday. If the match did not have the street fight stipulation, then there is no doubt that Lesnar would win. But, with the street fight stipulation, WWE can still protect the shine of Lesnar while also getting Ambrose over as a main-event talent

Probably a dumb pick, but I’m going with the underdog in this one. Lately, Brock hasn’t felt so invincible and with no rules, that actually helps Ambrose in taking down “The Beast.” Plus, Ambrose has done a lot in spite of WWE’s inability to get Reigns over, it’s clear Ambrose could be a top dog and getting a win at WrestleMania would help keep him in the mix for awhile.

This is another interesting match that could realistically go either way but I think the result will be more about appeasing the fans than anything else. An Ambrose victory is Vince’s way of saying, “look, I know you aren’t going be happy with Reigns but hey, Ambrose won too so that makes us even, right?” While Lesnar has the physical advantage in every way a street fight tips the scales more towards Ambrose and his reckless personality. These two men can have a lot of fun with this match and I hope they come prepared to turn this up
to 11.

WWE’s strategy with Dean Ambrose seems to be “look how close he is! You should respect that.” Again, Ambrose will come close to pulling it out but will come up just short. I expect Mick Foley to try and interfere on Ambrose’s behalf but it won’t be enough. The Beast continues to reign.

Prediction: Brock Lesnar

Dean Ambrose should be winning this match at WrestleMania 32. He has needed a monumental victory for some time and hasn’t received it. There have been chances every which way you look, but WWE hasn’t pulled the trigger on him. Unfortunately, this may be due the company not seeing him as a top star.

If that’s the case on Sunday, then Ambrose will come out looking good and will receive plenty of sympathy from the fans. It won’t go further than that, though, as Brock Lesnar wins.

This is another match I fully expect to see blood be a part of. The build-up for this match has been great from day one. The vignettes featuring Ambrose around Cincinnati and Philly talking about his real life street upbringing have done a lot to build his character as a potential top face of the company. Lesnar is simply the top star attraction that you want to see anytime you pay for a ticket. With this match is another one that is difficult to predict. Lesnar is a star you don’t want to lose often and Ambrose is a rising star that could be the next top face of the company.

This one is going to be nuts. Ambrose is a guy who has made it clear that he’s willing to do anything it takes for the sake of entertainment. Don’t believe me? Check out some of his youtube videos from his days as an independent wrestler. He doesn’t care how big or small the stage, he’ll risk his body regardless. Look for Ambrose to be booked very strong here, giving Lesnar the fight of his life. But it will be Lesnar who gets the victory on this night. WWE has too much to lose in letting Lesnar get beaten again.

On paper, this one should be wild, and Lesnar is likely to take Ambrose to Suplex City multiple times over. But is he going to win? Of course, it seems like he should. The Beast rarely loses a straight-up matchup. But this isn’t going to be a straight-up match because I fully expect Bray Wyatt to get involved and cause Lesnar to lose. The No DQ stipulation opens the door for the entire Wyatt Family to interfere, leading to the feud WWE has been teasing for months.
