Tuesday’s SmackDown taping took place from London, UK. The show saw some build toward the WWE Payback pay-per-view, but with a limited crew since some were doing a live event at the same time. AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were among the notable names around, though.

- Paige and Natalya defeated Tamina and Naomi.
- R-Truth defeated Fandango with Goldust as the special referee.
- Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady cut an in-ring promo. The Vaudevillains interrupted and they exchanged words about their match at Payback. This was said to be very good.

This seems like an average episode of SmackDown. There was plenty of wrestling, which the blue brand has become focused on while Raw takes care of storyline advancement.
There was some story progression, though, with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows being with AJ Styles at ringside. They helped him win his match against The Miz and will even be wrestling on Raw. That will certainly be a big deal to first, see them in a WWE ring and second, what their entrance will be like.
It also seems like Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler is headed for WWE Payback, which isn’t surprising.
