WWE Survivor Series 2016: Match Order Predictions

Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg
Finally, we reach the main event. Of course, it will be the match-up that has the entire WWE Universe bustling over the past few weeks. This is one of the most anticipated rematches in WWE history. The beast incarnate, Brock Lesnar will take on the WCW icon, Goldberg. Goldberg, a man that is one up on the beast. A statement which not many can make and say they have accomplished. The last man to defeat Lesnar was Triple H at Wrestlemania 29 nearly four years ago. Lesnar and Goldberg have a rivalry stemming back 12 years to Wrestlemania 20. Goldberg had defeated Lesnar that night in a relatively slow pace, but hard fought match-up.
More from WWE
- Trish Stratus on WWE NXT would help elevate that women’s division
- Randy Orton signs with SmackDown to go after The Bloodline
- WWE and AEW will put on a full court press for Kazuchika Okada in 2024
- The Judgment Day is the top faction story in WWE
- Liv Morgan vs Rhea Ripley is perfect for WWE Royal Rumble 2024
Lesnar will now seek vengeance on the former WCW standout all these years later. It will be a sight to see two of the most dominant forces in WWE history clash once more inside the ring. Lesnar backed down this past Monday night as Goldberg stood in the ring ready for a fight. Expect to see multiple F-5’s as well as a jackhammer from Goldberg. I would think WWE will elect to keep Lesnar at his super-human status and come away with the victory on Sunday. This will hopefully culminate in a best two out of three match somewhere down the road. Perhaps, SummerSlam next year to finish off the rivalry.

Survivor Series is certainly shaping up to be one of the biggest events of 2016, as it should be. It will have the opportunity to outshine that of SummerSlam with the magnitude of some of these high profile matches. Raw and SmackDown have not gone to war in a few years and I for one, am very excited to see what will take place. Plus, it does not get much bigger than Goldberg vs Lesnar II. This should likely be the match order, so the card may move along smoothly.
