Roman Reigns Inadvertently Spears Security Guard on WWE Raw (Video) – Updated
A security guard, who did not seem to be an independent wrestler, got taken down with a spear from Roman Reigns in WWE Raw’s final segment.
WWE will often bring in independent wrestlers to act as security guards during segments on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. They either are needed to restrain two Superstars brawling or take an attack from a frantic babyface that’s out for destruction.
Well, on Monday’s episode of Raw, an actual security guard took the bad end of a powerful move in the final segment.
Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns were set for a contract signing, but ended up brawling around the ring and in the crowd. One of the significant spots saw Reigns spear Strowman through a barricade and into ringside. However, an arena security guard standing at the barricade was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Probably a good time to consider a career change, random security guy.

The security guards often stand at the barricade, but in the crowd to prevent anyone from running into the ring or the stage. He was probably at the spot he was supposed to be at, but didn’t seem aware that two men that probably weight over a combined 600 pounds were incoming.
For future reference, that man should move out of the way when Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, or anyone else is charging at him. Not the wisest decision, man.

Update
In a correction on this story, it was an independent wrestler that played the security guard role. His name is “Hotshot” Danny Duggan from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Thanks to Luke Mazur for the article tip.
