WWE WrestleMania 33: 3 Best Choices to Defeat Alexa Bliss
By Sarah Hirsch
Alexa Bliss faces her biggest challenge in less than three weeks at WrestleMania.
Alexa Bliss will be facing a number of hungry and competitive challengers who want nothing more than to take the SmackDown Women’s Championship from her. Since her debut on the main roster last summer Bliss quickly rose to the top of the SmackDown Women’s Division. She hardly faltered as she outsmarted her way to the championship not once, but twice.
But now the tables have turned on the five foot starlet; she is a position where it is truly one versus all. Chances are slim for her to retain the Championship. From the current roster to rumored returns and possible debuts, Bliss has found herself in quite the situation. The odds are against her and it will be a surprise if she walks out of Camping World Stadium as SmackDown Women’s Champion.
While Becky Lynch is a heavy favorite to capture her second Women’s Championship, there is Mickie James who wants to add the Championship to her long list of accolades. James turned on Bliss last Tuesday night, and now has her eyes set on her former partner in crime. James’ crusade to make her stamp on the evolving revolution has been stronger now that her eyes are on the prize.

Naomi’s injury status remains up in the air as WrestleMania grows closer. Even if she doesn’t make it to Orlando, she is due for a rematch as she practically never lost the championship. It was unfortunate that after waiting for so long to get a shot a glory, it had to end on a bad note for the former Funkadactyl. Her former Team BAD partner Tamina Snuka has been making house show appearances for the SmackDown brand although there hasn’t been any indication on when she will make an in-ring return on television. Perhaps she will return in Orlando.
Then there is the speculation of those such as Kelly Kelly who might be taking part in the matchup. The former Divas Champion confirmed that she will be at the WrestleMania Axxess Convention that will take place in the days before WrestleMania. She also hinted that there may be something else in the works.
How about a swerve with Emma returning on the SmackDown brand in this match? She would fare better on the blue brand versus the Raw brand.
If that wasn’t enough for this match, there is the possibility of some NXT call ups that will make their debut on the main stage. The main names are Asuka and Liv Morgan. The Empress of Tomorrow has been at the recent SmackDown house shows, while Morgan has been on the Raw brand working house shows. Usually, when they start working the house shows, their debut on the main roster is coming. And for these two it may be sooner rather than later.
