WWE NXT: 3 Reasons The Revival Deserve Call-Up After WrestleMania 33

1. Perhaps the most prospective of all current NXT talents
Simply put, Dash and Dawson are good. These guys are the real article, and they mean business each and every single time they step into that squared circle.
Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are great together, there’s no doubting that, and The Authors of Pain have established themselves as a wrecking ball that is inevitably going to come crashing through to the WWE, but The Revival is one of the greatest creations that tag-team wrestling has conjured up in a very long time.

This isn’t a pair of individuals; Dash and Dawson fit together like two pieces of a puzzle, and the resulting chemistry and in-ring psychology is astounding.
As such, out of everyone in NXT right now, it may be safe to say that in terms of potential, The Revival is the only near-guarantee for success upon promotion to the big leagues.
Shinsuke Nakamura has language barriers and an already overpowering main event and upper mid-card scene to worry about. Tye Dillinger could be at risk of going the Tyler Breeze route to obscurity, despite how popular his “Perfect 10” gimmick may be.
Should she join the ranks of SmackDown Live like her recent house show appearances are suggesting, Asuka is moving from a brand where she is on top of a small, but growing mountain, into a much more stacked women’s division where top names in the industry compete on a weekly basis. That alone has to give her undefeated streak an expiry date, after which who knows what’s going to happen?
The Revival, however, would need an absolute nightmare from a booking standpoint for them to go to waste. And while that can’t be ruled out as a possibility, Dash and Dawson still remain as a relatively safe bet for stardom upon their emergence.

With this in mind, one has to think that if WWE is to make the most out of these call-ups, the top guys have to be first in the pecking order. These guys have a big future ahead, regardless of where they end up, and it wouldn’t be foolish to think a main roster title run for them could see the light of day before SummerSlam.
