On the post-WrestleMania 33 episode of SmackDown Live, Shinsuke Nakamura made his WWE main roster debut.

Shinsuke Nakamura had a spectacular run in WWE NXT, winning two NXT Championships and becoming just the second Superstar to do so. He also main evented each of the past four NXT TakeOver events.

Well, after all Nakamura did in NXT, things changed for him on Tuesday night. He got called up to the WWE main roster for SmackDown Live, the show after WrestleMania 33.

Just as the Miz and Maryse got done mocking John Cena and Nikki Bella, a violinist appeared on the stage. He started playing, the lights went out and Nakamura arrived entered the Amway Center. The crowd went wild for the international star, gracing him with “Nakamura” chants.

They let Shinsuke get the crowd reaction, but didn’t have him do anything. Did Miz run away? Either way, we should be in for a feud between them as the fallout from WrestleMania 33 continues.

The arrival of the King of Strong Style is a game-changer for the Blue Brand. He’s going to add star power to a show losing John Cena to the outside media world, becoming one of the top faces immediately.

He’s actually one of the top good guys of the show already. Even with Cena gone, there’s Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton and a handful of mid-card faces that don’t have the star power to pull in fans. Nakamura has that ability with his unique charisma and dynamic wrestling ability, which could lead him into the main event scene of SmackDown Live soon.
