Tye Dillinger made his WWE SmackDown Live debut on the show after WrestleMania 33.

Tye Dillinger rose to popularity in WWE NXT over the past year and change. It started when he debuted the “Perfect 10” gimmick, being somewhat full of himself and how perfect he is. However, this translated into becoming one of the top acts in NXT, rising up the card from enhancement talent to TakeOver staple.

Well, Dillinger got rewarded for this on Tuesday night, as he made his WWE main roster debut.

During the first hour of the SmackDown Live after WrestleMania 33, Curt Hawkins made an open challenge to anyone in the back. When someone makes this on a show after WrestleMania, you know someone new is going to come out. So, after Hawkins said he’ll “count to 10,” Dillinger entered the Amway Center to a big reaction, receiving “10” chants all around.

Within minutes, Dillinger defeated Hawkins. He used the exposed knee finisher to get the win and celebrate to 15,000 people chants “10.”

The Canadian star’s debut would be the first one for the SmackDown Live after WrestleMania 33. This comes after Raw had the Revival arrive on Monday night. Who else follows them remains to be seen, but there are potentially other options.

Dillinger recently competed at NXT TakeOver: Orlando, teaming with Roderick Strong, Kassius Ohno and Ruby Riot to face SAnity. The former four lost, with Dillinger taking the pin. So was that a way of sending him off?
