The Miz Makes an Impact
Earlier on in the article, it was examined how Finn Balor’s immediate future has been influenced by the loss in the main event last week. On the opposite end of the spectrum, The Miz is riding a great wave of momentum. Because of his win, he has a future Intercontinental Championship opportunity under his belt. Should he prove successful, Miz will have earned his seventh reign with the gold, just two shy of the record held by Chris Jericho.

In order to make that dream a reality, the Awesome One needs to gear up for a battle against Dean Ambrose. The Lunatic Fringe has been the one standing tall in their previous battles, and so Miz needs to learn from his mistakes. Along with that, he needs to fully get behind himself as an athlete capable of winning. He already displays the cockiness and attitude, but does he really believe deep down he can do it?
At the end of the day, we’re probably not going to figure out the answer to that question. What we will discover is Miz’s next course of action, and you can bet it’s going to be important. Since Raw is airing from the 02 Arena in London, the Awesome One will likely try to capitalize off the unique venue as well.
Accompanied by his wife Maryse, expect Miz to talk about his win last week. He’ll deliver a solid promo about why he deserves to be champion, and divulge his confidence about beating Ambrose. This will bring out his rival, and hopefully, it’ll mark the one time where the challenger stands tall. Otherwise, this feud is going to be dead in the water.
