Peyton Royce and Billie Kay Video

Royce and Kay were making a video at the Performance Center, until Ember Moon showed up. She got cleared to wrestle, which is a significant development.

Kassius Ohno and Hideo Itami Backstage

After the altercation between Ohno and Itami at TakeOver: Chicago, we see these two shake hands in the Full Sail parking lot. This peace isn’t going to last long.

Kassius Ohno and Roderick Strong vs. Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe

Result: Kassius Ohno and Roderick Strong defeated Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe via pinfall.

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

The “SAnitY effect” is starting to wear off. This group hasn’t showcased what it could have been, whether that’s due to not having a strong match from the men’s side, the lack of potential from Young and Wolfe, or Killian Dain not standing out like he did in his first few weeks with them. Nikki Cross has been fine and can last on her own, but this stable itself is having trouble keeping momentum together.

Having Strong take out SAnitY at TakeOver didn’t help, either. While this created a stronger babyface, it hurt more of the group’s mystique.

Speaking of Strong, him getting the win only creates a bigger opening for an NXT Championship opportunity. Given his impressive performance against Itami for the No. 1 contendership before Chicago, it seems possible he’ll get another chance. It also helped he got most of the babyface side’s offense in on Wednesday night.

However, we had the return of No Way Jose, who had been absent for nearly two months. His status was never made official for any type of injury, but it’s good to see him back.
