The Boss vs Alexa Bliss

Upon defeating Bayley at Extreme Rules, Alexa Bliss was aware that she’d taken a huge rival out of the contention for the Raw Women’s Championship. A new challenger was bound to step-up, but I doubt she knew who it was going to be. So when Nia Jax made it clear she intended to become champion, Bliss wasn’t happy in the slightest.

In her toughest match to date, the champion was absolutely demolished by her larger opponent. Luckily for her, interference from Dana Brooke and Mickie James awarded her a disqualification victory. Jax responded by leveling the two women, however, the damage had already been done. The following week, Bliss was again approached by the monstrous athlete. Only this time, a number of other competitors wanted the golden opportunity as well.

Among the women who interrupted Alexa Bliss, none was more widely popular than Sasha Banks. Now that her feud with Alicia Fox has appeared to have ended, the Boss is free to enter the title scene yet again. She’ll have to contend with a host of hungry competitors, but her experience and drive helps to set her above the rest.

Here tonight, expect WWE to make it clear who is set to face Bliss in the near future. Whether it be via an announcement or an official match, Banks is the superstar that will be chosen in this situation. Great Balls of Fire will likely be announced as the event where the title match takes place between these two female athletes. Either could gain the win at the event, which makes the encounter between these two all the more enticing.
