A rap battle has been scheduled between the two teams, with hip-hop star Wale set to officiate the proceedings. Considering that this episode of SmackDown Live is going to have some rather serious and important developments, moments like this will help to create that festive Fourth of July atmosphere.
In terms of who will win this rap battle, one has to take the personalities of both teams into account. The New Day are known for their charisma and skill on the mic, while The Usos tend to deliver more on the athletic standpoint. They can produce a strong promo when needed, but the Usos personify wrestling more than sports entertainment. Because of this, odds are that the New Day will be the one standing on top of the lyrical mountain at the end of this contest.
Regardless of which team wins the rap battle, this interaction can help to continue the ongoing feud between them. Their upcoming match at Battleground promises to excite, and could potentially top the contest at Money in the Bank. Should they be successful in doing so, not only will both teams benefit from the spotlight, but the rest of the SmackDown Live tag team division as well.
