WWE: Will We See The Rise Of Bullet Club?

The WWE issued a Cease and Desist letter to the Young Bucks over the ‘Too Sweet’ gesture made popular by NWO. Is this by any chance, a sign of things to come?

The news of WWE issuing a Cease and Desist letter to the Young Bucks have been all over the internet today. The gesture was made famous by NWO in WCW. However, since the WWE purchased the WCW, this has been copyrighted by them. Regardless, the ‘Too Sweet’ gesture has been used by the Young Bucks and even more notably by the Bullet Club for quite a while now.

The founding members of the Bullet Club are in the WWE now. Regardless, the club still runs rampant under new leadership. Vince McMahon and company’s recent interest in this is enough to spark some discussions though. Like Bleacher Reporter asked in their page today:

"The Bullet Club has been using the gesture for years, so it’s unclear why WWE has chosen now to create a court battle."

That could very well be the question on everybody’s mind at the moment. Why make a fuss about it now? One reason could be that the Club on Raw has been using this gesture ever since their debut. We have seen the likes of Anderson, Gallows and even Styles give us little easter eggs as far as the Bullet Club goes.

One of those moments happened backstage during one of the PPVs from last year. A backstage segment even included Finn Balor as well. Moreover, most recently on Raw, Balor teamed up with Gallows and Anderson to eliminate the Big Show. This happened during the battleroyale to determine the number one contender for the IC Title.

What if the WWE is finally moving ahead with reuniting Gallows and Anderson with Balor? All this could lead to nothing still. However, seeing as how the main roster lacks good stables apart for the rumored SHIELD reunion, this could be a great idea. Especially, once the iconic stable finishes up their issues with the Miztourage. A war over control of Raw against the Bullet Club would be the stuff of dreams.

On the flip side though, Vince McMahon could just be pissed about the Bullet Club sort of ‘invading’ Raw this past week. One couldn’t help but speculate on the possibilities that lie ahead. Will creative finally pull the trigger on the long-awaited Bullet Club angle? Would this come to fruition? What are your thoughts?
