The RAW Mid Card Division
Highlights of the division
The Miz was used to elevate the TLC main event but took the pinfall by the Raw General Manager Kurt Angle. So now the reigning Intercontinental Champion will be facing off against the United States Champion Baron Corbin at Survivor Series. So let me get this straight? We are going to watch the Intercontinental Champion (who was pinned by the Raw GM at TLC ) face the United States Champion (who lost to Sin Cara last week by count-out) at Survivor Series?

Why should anybody care for this match at all, like seriously why? Both these guys have been treated like jokes for so long it isn’t even funny anymore. The Miz can run his mouth but he can’t win the big matches and Baron Corbin only gets lucky to win his bouts. These two champions are extremely talented by their star power was extinguished in a span of a week.
Kane made his in-ring Raw debut at TLC and the only thing significant he did in the main event match was turn on Braun Strowman. The WWE has always made a habit of turning Kane into a diabolical monster for the short-term and transform him into a comedy act after his dominant run just ends.
Everybody knows that Kane has absolutely no chance of defeating Braun Strowman when they do clash. I’m a huge fan of Kane but the problem is that he’s booked in two directions that i listed above every year. He’s just another victim for the Monster Among Men. Having Kane beat Finn Balor will change nobodies mind on how his eventual encounter with Braun Strowman will end.
Meanwhile, for the rest of the division…
Jason Jordan and Elias are in a meaningless feud that just started with an insult at the TLC pre-show. It makes sense to have these two contenders square off but it should be for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. It just makes Jason Jordan look sensitive because Elias said he wasn’t on the PPV at the TLC pre-show. There needs to be more at stake for anybody to even care at this juncture. Elias is a great heel but the fans need to give a crap about Jason Jordan because nobody cares about him at all.
These are the rankings for the division this week.
