2. Making Up For Last Year’s Loss
While the red team did have some wins at Survivor Series last year, they did lose the big 5 vs. 5 match, and that victory went to SmackDown. They have a win to make up for, but not only that – Raw needs to show they in the fans eyes they aren’t just a B grade show. They have the talent on the roster, a strong team this year and the product itself has improved a lot and it isn’t just a wholly wasted 3 hours.

Last year’s match was very good, though it did work more as a match to further the storyline with Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt at the time. The loss worked in that respect, however it is time for them to come back and come back hard. They may lose some of the other matches, but this one is must win right now. A loss two years in a row will not look that good, and brand supremacy is on the line. SmackDown won’t lose anything with a loss, they are still a strong brand and they have a great roster.
It is going to be interesting to see how Raw‘s team works, with the unpredictable Braun Strowman, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe who appear to be feuding now and Kurt Angle with his son Jason Jordan. It is an interesting team and if they can gain a victory, it’ll be beneficial to Raw and it’ll show even the crazy can work.
