2. The Miz
The Miz would lose his title to Roman Reigns in the main event of the night. But that does not mean in the least that he isn’t the second biggest star of the night. The Hollywood A-lister put on such a fantastic performance last night. He was excellent as a heel that the crowd was cheering Reigns. That has a bit to do with Reigns’s fine mic work but more on that later.

The Miz, put on one of his best matches in recent times. The counters and false finishes were all well-placed. The spot where he countered two Superman Punch attempts, while simultaneously hitting Reigns in the knee the second time was something fresh. Miz has evolved so much as a performer. It is hard to remember the days when he was extensively criticized for his ring work.
Despite dropping his title to Roman Reigns, Miz came away as a true star. We don’t know whether this will lead something more relevant for him. A feud with Kurt Angle for putting him in this match would be one thing. Aligning himself with Triple H would be another. He could also be planning to take some time away from the ring.
Regardless, Monday night was one of the finest performances by the Miz in recent times. He has constantly been evolving and is at present the best heel in the WWE. Hopefully, taking the title off him does not negate all the hard work he has put into it till date.
