2. Absolution Runs Wild

The newly named Absolution – the faction of Paige, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville – are making a huge statement on Raw. Since they debuted last week, things haven’t stopped. They took out Mickie James and Bayley before their tag team match leaving only Sasha Banks. Unfortunately Sasha Banks didn’t last as long as Charlotte on SmackDown, and Absolution took her down as well.

We don’t quite know their agenda, but Paige is certainly looking to take over the division. Paige as we know was there from the beginning of the Women’s Revolution, but since then she was almost tossed aside and then suffered a big injury. She is back and ready to really make her statement with some nice back up.

The more interesting part of their appearances on Raw though was taking aim at Asuka. As discussed earlier they came out after her match with Dana Brooke and stared her down. They didn’t attack and Asuka walked away without taking her eyes off the trio. It’s going to be interesting to see what they do next week, whether they want Asuka on their side or want to take her out. Not attacking her sends mixed signals, perhaps as they say they aren’t ready for her but they are planning to be. There is so much potential for Absolution to take on Asuka and any other women on the Raw roster.

The matches they could have could really mix things up and give us some freshness. One thing is for sure Absolution is going to be a main stay for Raw.
