Shane Finally Gets Some Revenge

Ever since the summer, Shane McMahon has been at odds with Kevin Owens. It may go even further back than that – KO’s arrival on SmackDown seemed to ignite the war that the two are stuck in right now. And by helping out Owens at Hell in a Cell, Sami Zayn has gotten involved in the mess as well. Factor in Daniel Bryan trying to fairly run a wrestling show without letting personal vendettas get in the way, and you have the makings of a disaster on your hands.

Lately, it seems Owens and Zayn are constantly one step ahead of their bosses. From interfering at Survivor Series, to outsmarting Shane when the commissioner tried to punish the pair, the reunited best friends are seemingly untouchable.

But all good runs have to come to an end. Star Wars gave us Ewoks and prequels, Fonzie jumped over a shark in a leather jacket, and Michael Jordan played for the Wizards. This week, Shane will likely get some form of revenge on the duo. Perhaps he’ll finally get them separated, allowing Randy Orton another chance to take one – or both – of them out.

Why would that happen this week as opposed to next? Because if it happens now, it gives Owens and Zayn one more week before Clash of Champions to get the upper hand once again. And we all know in WWE, if you have the upper hand going into a pay per view, you lose at the pay per view,
