Sasha Banks

Sasha has been used rather, um, “kookily” over the past eight to nine months. Despite her epic feud with Charlotte last year, the Legitimate Employer (that’s how she’s referred to in Canada, for your information) had a tepid 2017.

She’s been around, she’s won matches, but Sasha hasn’t been involved in anything she could sink her teeth into. It’s time for her to reclaim her mystique in 2018 and I believe this push will begin at the Royal Rumble. In my not-so-modest vision of the future, this push will culminate in a SummerSlam match with Asuka for the Raw title (again, getting ahead of myself, this is another article entirely).

Is she going to win the Royal Rumble this year? No. She’s not. However, it will kick off a series of storylines with the Absolution people, regardless of whether Paige is healthy to compete or not. I fully expect Sasha to be one of the earliest entries in the Rumble and will probably walk out with the accolade of having stayed in the longest. She’s crazy over with every crowd she performs for and one of the company’s top workers, so she deserves a milestone if she can’t have the victory.

And no, they’re not “pulling the trigger” on this fever dream Bayley heel turn..
