We’re just a few days away from WWE Royal Rumble 2018. With 13 spots still unaccounted for in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match, who are the least likely superstars to enter the contest?
One of the best annual traditions during the Royal Rumble run-up is figuring out who may be a surprise entrant. The full lineup of 30 superstars is never revealed, leading to the return of Legends or a surprise debut. Hey, Drew Carey entered the Royal Rumble one year – and was inducted into the Hall of Fame for it. WWE Royal Rumble 2018 is sure to be no different.
As of this writing, 17 male superstars have declared entry for the Men’s Royal Rumble Match. A little more than half the field is accounted for, with superstars like John Cena, The Miz, Shinsuke Nakamura, and The New Day throwing their hats in the ring. Of course, Roman Reigns and Dolph Ziggler still have not officially entered, but come on – they’re entering.
Yesterday, we brought you five possible surprise entrants for the Men’s Rumble. But if there’s one thing I bring to the table, it’s hoping for a long shot. Last week, I laid out three very very very very long shot entrants for the Women’s Royal Rumble Match. The odds of any one of those former superstars showing up in Philly are pretty low.
So let’s do the same thing with the men! Here are three superstars that probably won’t be in the same time zone come Sunday, but would still be pretty cool if their music hit after the buzzer.
