3. Final Elimination Chamber qualifying match announced for next week

Like I said before, this seems to be a last-minute change in plans. Wrestling Inc had earlier reported that Jason Jordan was supposed to be the final entrant in the match. However, as we now know, he will be out of action indefinitely, which is a major blow to not just his singles career, but also for Seth Rollins. Will creative be able to find something else for the Architect to do at the Show of Shows.

Perhaps Jordan’s surgery might be the reason for creative announcing this qualifying match. Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt, Matt Hardy and Apollo Crews, all of whom had earlier failed to make the cut will now get a second chance. Out of the four men, it’s no secret that the WWE universe wants Balor to grab the final spot in the match. This could very well be the closest Balor gets to the Universal title picture at the moment.

In addition, this match will allow Apollo Crews to put on one more athletic performance in big matches, as he has been doing in recent weeks. There is also Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy, who are involved in their ‘Great War’. This match could serve as the next chapter in their feud. One can easily imagine these two getting caught up in their personal war, just like in the Royal Rumble, while Balor picks up an impressive win over Crews.
