2. Ronda Rousey

More from Daily DDT

It might seem kind of strange to put someone who didn’t even have a match in the number two spot on these inaugural power rankings. But watching how Ronda Rousey was utilized this week on Raw, it’s clear she will be the centerpiece of the women’s division for the foreseeable future.

And it doesn’t hurt that Rousey’s improved tremendously in her mannerisms since her smiley debut in January. This week, Rowdy Ronda was all business as she sauntered to the ring to defend her friend, Natalya. And the look on her face after she was kicked in the back by Mickie James screamed “YOU’RE DEAD.”

The rapid tapouts on the armbars Rousey has used so far are a great way to make her seem dangerous. Considering her first victim was Stephani McMahon, I’d say Rousey is in good shape moving forward.

1. Braun Strowman

There is no one in WWE more over than Braun Strowman. And since just about everything he does gets the fans behind him even more, there’s no good reason he shouldn’t be at the top of our power rankings.

The mere mention of his name gets the crowd crazy. Then he gets in the ring and just makes them go even crazier. This week, he ran through the competition — literally. Poor Kevin Owens was on the receiving end of multiple tackles into the barricade, with The Monster Among Men just running full speed into him. Factor in a fancy catchphrase and ridiculous strength, and Strowman is a total package who’s going to be the crowd’s favorite for a long time.
