Sasha Banks (w/ Bayley) vs. Ruby Riott (w/ Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan)
Result: Ruby Riott defeated Sasha Banks via pinfall
Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars
It’s really amazing to me that it took over two and a half hours of WWE Raw this week before a wrestler really did some targeted limb work. The Tag Team Championship match featured some minimal psychology, at least, with Dawson working his butt off to cut the ring in half.
But none of the five matches (or six, if you count Bobby Lashley’s thing as an official contest) to already take place featured anyone working to wear down their opponent. Ruby Riott spent the majority of this match attacking Sasha’s left hand. (Maybe it’s just because I rewatched it lately, but there was a lot of focus on the hand in Bayley and Sasha’s match at the inaugural TakeOver: Brooklyn.)

It’s wonderful to have Riott back on WWE Raw after her injury, as she demonstrated great skill in her return match. I feel like the Riott Squad and Bayley/Sasha were kind of spinning their wheels in Ruby’s absence, and now that she’s back things can move forward.
The ending was a little chaotic, but the rest of the match was solid as can be. I have no idea why Bayley stood around like a goober before she finally threw a clothesline at Liv Morgan in the closing seconds of the match. Bayley, Sasha is allegedly your friend again; get your butt in there and help her out! Fight off Morgan and Logan!
I’m pretty sure Ruby had a handful of tights on the pin, but it’s not like anyone confirmed that. If there was any kind of shenanigans, I’m sure we’ll keep this rivalry going.
