Bo Dallas (w/ Curtis Axel) vs. Scott Dawson (w/ Dash Wilder)
Result: Scott Dawson defeated Bo Dallas via pinfall
Rating: 1.5 out of 5 stars
Before the matches, The B-Team once again prove that they are so bad on the mic it’s endearing. Gotta love the Axe Man dedicating his already-scheduled match against Dash Wilder to Bo — and the fans — and then challenging Dash to a match less than five minutes later.
There’s no point in just talking about one match at a time, so let’s just get the second one out of the way here…

What we have here is two matches that honestly accomplished what zero matches should have been used for. At SummerSlam on the Kickoff Show, The Revival looked to have the Raw Tag Team Championships locked up when Dawson caught Axel with an inside cradle, but the referee was distracted and missed a clear seven count. By the time the official turned around, Bo bumped into the pin, positions changed, and Axel got the win for his squad.
A very simple solution would have been to have Dash and Dawson speak to Kurt Angle backstage, state their case, and get awarded a rematch to due an incompetent referee. Then, the time on these two single matches could have been spent on building a new feud, or just doing the rematch right away.
Instead, The Revival had to win a pair of singles matches, because reasons. We got to see Dash bust out a Gory Bomb, which was awesome. But the best tag team in the world winning singles matches to get a deserved rematch is a giant waste of time.
Kurt Angle Paper Company
As Stephanie iced her arm, Kurt Angle came to check on her, and she sent him on vacation, making Constable Corbin the “acting” General Manager of Raw. Oh, no, he’s not even British!
Look at Corbin’s face in that image, and tell me he’s not everything you want from a top heel.
