2. AJ Styles vs. Andrade Cien Almas
No feud in the WWE is as personal as the one going on between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe. The two former friends turned bitter enemies have been at each other for the past several weeks and after a controversial finish at Hell In A Cell, the issue is still as potent as it has ever been.
Styles technically defeated Joe at Hell In A Cell, but just before the referee counted the three, it appeared as if Joe made Styles tap out. However, the referee didn’t see it and the decision is final and Joe will get another shot at dethroning Styles at Super Show-Down. Last night was all about another rising superstar on SmackDown, however, that wanted a piece of the WWE Champion.
Andrade Cien Almas went one-on-one with The Phenomenal One last night and given the match the two had several weeks ago, this match was quite anticipated. And boy, did they ever live up to those expectations. This was a great match that made the case that Styles and Almas could be the two best in-ring workers on Tuesday nights, and that’s saying something.

It went back and forth for a while with both of this tremendous talents leaving it all in the ring, but Styles proved why he is phenomenal and after an impressive counter into the Styles Clash, the WWE Champion got the win over Almas. But in no time, Samoa Joe jumped Styles after the match was finished. However, Styles turned the tide and chased Joe off through the crowd.
Seeing the work Styles and Almas can do together is something special and last night was a great example of what they’re capable of.
