4. Charlotte Flair vs. Peyton Royce

Charlotte Flair has been in a fighting mood as of late, which started at Survivor Series when she attacked Ronda Rousey during their match.  That mood carried over into last night when after she opened up the show explaining her actions, she got the opportunity to compete against not one, but two superstars.

After the developments during the opening segment, Charlotte wound up going one-on-one with Billie Kay of The IIconics.  That match would turn out to be a breeze, however, with Charlotte winning quickly.  She wasn’t finished there, however, and she immediately challenged Peyton Royce after that match was over with.

Royce thought about it, but she wound up taking the match.  While this match wasn’t much longer than the previous match, it was still better than its predecessor.  Royce took advantage of The Queen early on, who had just competed in a match already.  However, it wouldn’t last and Charlotte would take control back of the match before The IIconics tried to use their numbers game.

The double-team attack caused a disqualification, but Charlotte was having none of it.  She was able to counter the attack on the outside by attacking both women in a fashion similar to what she did to Rousey at Survivor Series.  It was capped off with Charlotte banging both women’s heads on the announce table over and over again.  This new side of Charlotte paid dividends last night where she was able to offset a two-on-one attack by herself.

The Queen wants The Baddest Woman On The Planet again, but in the meantime, she’ll settle for what she gets and she got a relatively good match with Royce last night.

Final Grade: B-
