4. Women’s Tag Team Championships Are Finally On The Horizon

The women’s evolution has continued to gain more ground in 2018 on a historic level that was headlined by the first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view.  The WWE is pushing the envelope even more in the future and last night’s Raw gave a little hint at what’s likely to come.

At TLC, there will be the first-ever women’s TLC match with the SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line.  However, Raw gave a big teaser last night on what lies ahead for the women’s division when Sasha Banks and Bayley were taking part in a Q & A session in the ring thanks to Alexa Bliss.

This segment was about as bland as the one that took place last week, but one important line that came out of it gave a lot of insight.  A question was answered by the two that they would love to become the first-ever women’s tag team champions.  With that very answer, the speculation on the creation of women’s tag team champions is imminent.

This seems to be the next logical step in the women’s evolution and, when you think about it, this could be a beneficial addition to all parties.  Not only would it give the women’s division another championship, but it would give women that don’t always get TV time a chance to shine in tag team form.  It’s exciting to think about and it seems like the perfect new addition.

Who knows when it will come, but the addition of women’s tag team titles seem to be on the horizon after months of speculation.
