2. vs. The Usos – Battleground/SummerSlam/Hell in a Cell 2017

Okay, I know, I know. This is cheating. However, YOU try picking a single match that The Usos wrestled against The New Day in 2017 and see how easy it is to pick their best one for an entry. Trick question (also not a question): it’s NOT easy. And while we’re at it, let’s throw in their Sept. 12 Street Fight on SmackDown in there for good measure.

More from WWE

The summer of 2017 saw The Usos and The New Day embroiled in an intense feud over the WWE SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships. Nothing more complicated than that. Just two teams campaigning to prove which one was the better team. One match after another, one thing these teams proved is that they were willing to kill each other to establish themselves as they best.

Along the way, they would manage to have a Match of the Year candidate and every time, they would find a way to have a better match than they had before. While their feud kicked off with a disappointing match at Money in the Bank that ended in a countout, they would bounce back with three back to back instant classics on pay-per-view. Every time they tussled, as equally matched units, they would find a way to trade the titles back and forth each time.

Finally, they found a way to save the best for last when they squared off inside the hellacious steel structure known as Hell in a Cell. When the dust settled and the cage was raised, both teams found a newfound respect for each other and the fans respected both The Usos and The New Day in the same way.
