4. Dean Ambrose Betrays Roman Reigns

Something seemed slightly fishy about The Shield’s latest reunion. After all, it was only a few months ago that Dean Ambrose was beating the living daylights out of Seth Rollins on a weekly basis and trash-talking Roman Reigns, who was away from WWE at the time recovering from cancer.

Reigns’ rationale for getting the band back together so soon after their split was that life’s too short, and Ambrose planned to leave the promotion following WrestleMania, so it was best to put their differences aside and team up while they still could.

The Shield’s main event match at Fastlane was fun, but Ambrose has remained directionless on the road to WrestleMania. He could factor into the finish of Reigns’ WrestleMana match with Drew McIntyre, but beyond that, WWE doesn’t appear to have anything major planned for him before he likely leaves at the end of April.

‘The Lunatic Fringe’ should go out with a bang by betraying Reigns when fans least expect it (a.k.a. the night after WrestleMania).

Assuming Reigns wraps up his rivalry with McIntyre at WrestleMania, he’ll have nothing to do coming out of the event, so a Reigns vs. Ambrose feud would benefit them both. Ambrose can have his last match against his best friend, while Reigns continues to build momentum in his pursuit of the Universal Championship.

It’s a win-win.
