WWE: 5 activities to help Shelton Benjamin with whatever he’s dealing with
By Bassam Kaado
4. Try some meditation
Breathe. Breathe in the air. Don’t be afraid to care.

That’s my advice to Shelton Benjamin. With the constant travel wrestlers are notorious for having to deal with, having to pay for their own accommodations, and the stresses of being inside a wrestling ring when performing, the job can be hectic. Add crowd reactions that can be unfavorable and on top of that everyone at social media yelling at you, Yowie Wowie.
What can Senor Benjamin do to deal with everything? Well, just as wrestlers take care of their physical health, he has to deal with his mental health. Our mental health is a crucial aspect to our lives that most of us seem to forget about. This includes managing stress, working through emotions, saying no to bad thoughts and triggers for anxiety. The best way to deal with this meditation.
It’s not an easy feat to master off the bat; meditation is something you need to work on. Luckily, Shelton has time on his hands when not on TV and in between travel. Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal might even be able to help Benjamin find some inner peace.
There are guided meditations available all over the place, whether it is a class to go to or an app to download. I personally like Buddhify, but you have to pay for it so don’t feel pressured. (This article is NOT sponsored by Buddhify.)
5. Go to therapy
Benjy Baby, I’ll tell you what I tell everyone: therapy changed my life.
We are told that we should visit the doctor one a year, the dentist twice a year, our cars need inspections once a year, but why don’t we talk about our mental health? We are our own vehicles, and our brains need maintenance and check-ups.
I know wrestlers don’t get benefits like health insurance, which is a shame. So until they unionize and get the benefits they deserve, Shelton will be happy to know that therapists aim to help people.
If you contact a therapist (no administration of drugs, just healthy discussion and discord), there is a plethora of professionals that work on sliding scale. If Benjy explains his situation, he can find a therapist that will reason with him and offer him a reasonable price for sessions.
WWE might even be able to get Dr. Shelby back to help Shelton Benjamin through his struggles right now.
It may seem like a hassle or maybe a luxury, but your mind is just as important as your body. We love you, Benjy Boo. Just take care of yourself and let us know whenever you are ready to talk.
