WWE: 3 reasons why we need The New Day vs. The Club
Kofi Kingston vs. AJ Styles
The rivalry between Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan leading up to WrestleMania 35 has to go down as one of the best feuds in WWE history, with the match itself being an absolute masterpiece. Kingston has solidified himself as one of the best in-ring performers in the world, as his feud with Bryan showed that he is right there on the level of Bryan or AJ Styles; it’s just that being in a tag team prevented him from getting enough love as a singles competitor.

Right now, it should be obvious that Kingston is one of the world’s best, and it’s why his WWE Title reign has been so good. Therefore, it would be a treat to watch him test his skills against AJ Styles, who held the WWE Championship for a year before dropping it to the “New” Daniel Bryan prior to Survivor Series 2018.
Kingston vs. Styles wouldn’t just be excellent in the ring. Whether it’s flipping off Samoa Joe as a way of standing up for himself or inspiring the masses with the Power of Positivity, Kofi has been delivering memorable moments on the mic for months. Styles is also quite good at promos when he’s a heel, as he fills the “cocky jerk” role well, whereas he comes up short in his attempts to be a genuinely inspiring babyface.
In this way, Kingston and Styles would juxtapose quite nicely, and they could potentially have a stellar WWE Championship rivalry that serves as the centerpiece for the larger feud between The New Day and The Club. After all, these two men already showed they can put on a classic in the ring together. Just look at what happened in their Gauntlet Match on SmackDown.
