6. Kevin Owens

Former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens is riding high after defeating Shane McMahon in a Ladder Match on the debut of SmackDown on FOX. Owens has been building momentum since returning before WrestleMania, and he would be a huge pick for either brand.

5. Sasha Banks

Even after a damaging loss inside Hell in a Cell to Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, there’s no denying what Sasha Banks has done since returning to WWE. She has the potential, and proven track record, to be a foundational piece of either brand’s women’s division.

4. Roman Reigns

On the same night that he represents SmackDown against Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns has the potential to end up back on Raw or right at home on SmackDown on FOX. Where he lands may hinge on if he can defeat Seth Rollins, but you can bet both brands are hoping to snag this 3-time WWE Champion and former Universal Champion for their roster.

3. The O.C. (United States Champion AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson)

When we’re looking at the likelihood of a selection, value has to come into play. While Roman Reigns certainly has a lot of value on his own, you’d expend a single draft pick for one competitor. On the other hand, a brand could expend get more bang for their buck by using a single draft pick to snag former WWE Champion and current US Champion AJ Styles, as well as former Raw Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

2. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt

Just shy of the top slot on our big board is “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt. Despite an ill-received ending at Hell in a Cell, “The Fiend” remains one of the most intriguing and popular acts in WWE today. At Hell in a Cell, he showed an inhumane level of resiliency that would make Wyatt an instant main eventer on either brand.

1. Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch

The most likely number one pick in this year’s WWE Draft, and most valuable selection tonight on SmackDown, is none other than Becky Lynch. I fully expect whichever brand secures the first selection to go right after “The Man” to get the biggest thing in WWE today on their show. Again, it’s still not clear how the championship would work were Lynch to end up on SmackDown, but a Seth Rollins win tonight just might create that very scenario.
