Asuka is ready for Becky Lynch

No one is ready for Asuka, but Becky Lynch better get ready sooner rather than later as she may have her next challenger for her Raw Women’s Championship already lined up following the events of last night’s main event.

Asuka was able to knock The Man off of the ladder before climbing up to retrieve her and Kairi Sane’s Women’s Tag Team Championships in a successful Tables, Ladders and Chairs match defense. For the second year in a row, TLC closed out with Becky Lynch looking up at the sky to see the former SmackDown Women’s Champion pull down a championship The Man was certain would be hers.

This also continues Lynch’s struggles to defeat Asuka, something she still has yet to do. Even in the build to last night’s PPV, Lynch found herself pinned by Asuka in tag team competition.

Now, Royal Rumble is around the corner and Lynch is going to need a Raw Women’s Championship challenger for the PPV. A PPV that comes a year removed from the 2019 edition of the show, where Asuka successfully defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship by tapping The Man out.

Don’t be surprised if a rematch is announced for the 2020 version of the show, especially after Asuka’s strong showing last night.
