2. Becky Lynch and Shayna Baszler face to face

Does this count as a promo segment? Does it have to be one person talking into a microphone all the time? Is this more of an interview segment? Can a promo be two people talking to each other? Ah well. Whatever this is, this is amazing.

While we were all wrapped into the dream confrontation between NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler and WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch in the middle of the NXT invasion, what this segment truly wound up being was two women at the very top of their profession doing exactly what brought them to the big dance.

Two women, who dominated their respective divisions as dominant, supposedly unbeatable adversaries were now staring each other down and challenging one another. The very definition of what happens when an unstoppable force meets and immovable object.

The magnitude of these personalities were grand enough to be captivating in itself, but the delivery and the tension combined with their chemistry made this encounter feel like it was selling a WrestleMania match. This promo is wouldn’t look out of place in the middle of a Mania build-up, truth be told.
