WWE Royal Rumble 2020 early match card predictions

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Asuka (w/Kairi Sane) [Raw Women’s Championship]
Our Joe Anthony Myrick had pontificated his reasons for why Asuka should beat Becky Lynch at WWE Royal Rumble 2020. In summary, Asuka should defeat Lynch to lead to a bigger rematch at WrestleMania 36 where Lynch can defeat Asuka for the very first time in her career.
Our Ryan Anderson had pontificated his reasons for why Becky Lynch should beat Asuka at WWE Royal Rumble 2020. In summary, Lynch should defeat Asuka to relieve herself of all debts and gain strength heading to WrestleMania 36.
Although this rivalry is Mania worthy, their rivalry should end where it started: the WWE Royal Rumble PPV. The 2018 Royal Rumble Winner, Asuka, and the 2019 Royal Rumble Winner, Becky Lynch, shall go to war at WWE Royal Rumble 2020.
Considering that she is the current face of the WWE, the winner should be Becky Lynch. As the individual who defeated Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35, Lynch should be walking into WrestleMania 36 as the Raw Women’s Champion and a win over Asuka should relieve her of any doubts of being one of the best Raw Women’s Champions in WWE history.

Bayley (c) (w/Sasha Banks) vs. Lacey Evans [SmackDown Women’s Championship]
Bayley and Lacey Evans’ rivalry has escalated quickly as of late. Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Bayley continued to disrespect Evans’ motherhood and Marine Corps experience but such an altercation led to a thrilling backstage brawl that replaced a scheduled match between Lacey Evans and Sasha Banks.
As our Kevin Parvizi reported last month, Bayley was expected to defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans at WWE TLC 2019. However, the stalling of this feud to WWE Royal Rumble 2020 could be worthwhile because the build to this eventual championship match has been quite exceptional.
If this match occurs, Bayley should retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Her championship reign is elevating the SmackDown Women’s Division and it would be imprudent to dethrone someone with such an impact.
