Becky Lynch (c) vs. Asuka (w/Kairi Sane) [Raw Women’s Championship]

Becky Lynch won the Raw Women’s Championship because she defeated Ronda Rousey and the woman who ended Asuka’s streak, Charlotte Flair, in the main event of WWE WrestleMania 35. The fact that she has not yet defeated the current one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Asuka, is aberrant.

With the merit and momentum Lynch has gained in the past year, there is no chance in hell that Asuka becomes Asuka Two Belts at this PPV. Thanks to 50:50 booking, Lynch will redeem herself from her championship loss to Asuka at last year’s Royal Rumble, finally collect her one last debt, and await her next challenge for WrestleMania 36.

Prediction: Becky Lynch

Bayley (c) (w/Sasha Banks) vs. Lacey Evans [SmackDown Women’s Championship]

Lacey Evans had an incredible rookie year, especially in regards to her memorable Raw Women’s Championship matches against Becky Lynch. During that time, she played the heel role very well by imposing her ladylike stereotypes onto the WWE Universe.

Now, she finds herself as a babyface in a SmackDown Women’s Championship match against the heel Bayley. In this case, Bayley and Sasha Banks decided to taunt Lacey Evans’ young daughter and insult Evans’ motherhood.

These taunts and insults led to two backstage altercations as well as a Sasha Banks ankle injury. Thanks to this injury and her rap album obligations, Banks was not able to compete in her scheduled matches against Evans, which gave Evans the opportunity to defeat Bayley on Friday Night SmackDown and earn a championship opportunity at this PPV.

Although Evans is ready for a championship in the WWE, Bayley is nowhere close from being done with her championship reigns. Since her ultimate championship match at WrestleMania 36 should be against Sasha Banks, she needs to retain the championship here.

Prediction: Bayley
